When playing the game, I get around 32-50fps on optimal settings on my laptop. I have a Nvidia GT 765M and it's enabled for the game (nvidia card instead of using intel graphics) but I get horrendous FPS when I should be getting a straight 60fps? I even used Nvidia experience to optimise the game for me at high settings? I've also got the latest drivers and the in game optimisation even put it at exactly the same? Even on low I get 40-50 but the game looks like ugly as sin on low. How can I run Crysis 3 on max at 70-80fps and I can't even run this on low?? Is Titanfall just not optimised for laptop spec hardware?? Any help would be appreciated :)

So #1, how much ram do you have? 4GB is the BARE Minimum for the game, so running anything higher than medium would kill your PC.

#2, I use Vsync on, it actually has improved my frames oddly.

#3, I rerolled my drivers back to the last stable build for Nvidia (334.89 WQHL) and it's improved my frame rate also, since these new drivers have only improved the 3D vision side of the game, not the game itself.

Let me know if you have any problems and have a great day/night!

Thank you for quick reply :) I have 8GB of RAM and V Sync seemed to lower my fps. I've tried rerolling my drivers back but with no success. I asked my friend and he said he has the same fps issues. He can run BF4 on ultra but get significant fps as well, around 50-60fps. However with Titanfall he can barely manage 30fps on low? He has a desktop however with 16GB RAM. Certain maps like Angel City get better fps, like 30-50, but I just can't understand why my performance in this game is worst than when I play more graphical intensive games. My friend contemplated it isn't well optimised because of the new release. If so, I hope they release a few optimisation patches because I really love this game... Just it's a little less lovable at 30-40fps.

They've said they are looking into performance soon, and I'm hoping they will patch it. Sorry for your issues and I hope you can possibly figure it out at some point!

Funny I have the same exact card in my laptop and I found disabling v-sync is the way to go. I can't stand the screen tearing, but it's much better than the constant stuttering, even though FRAPS tells me I'm at 60 FPS. As for my 660ti in my PC, forcing v-sync via NVidia control panel and disabling it in-game made all the difference. It didn't work for the laptop so I just keep v-sync off there, at least until Respawn sorts this out.

    Give this a try -

Something that actually helped! (for nvidia) -

Step 1 - Go into nvidia Control Panel - 'adjust image settings with preview' - select 'use my preference emphasising' and move the slider to 'performance'. Click Apply

Step 2 - Go into 'manage 3d settings' find 'power management mode' and change the setting to 'perfer maximum performance' Click Apply.

This smoothed things out a fair bit for me. I've got a 750 ti. It may not work for all gfx cards but worth a try!

Let me know how it goes.

Hey peeps. If you're having fps issues with v-sync enabled on your gaming laptops, make sure switchable graphics is disabled. I found titanfall did not use any of my 2 gigs vram when my graphics were set to use integrated intel graphics and nividia gpu at the same time.

Basically, make sure titanfall has no choice but to use your video card. Just don't expect your battery to last very long if you're not plugged in =D
