I really think it should be a mix of both the first and second Titanfall, I think it would accommodate the majority....also I really like what they did for the Graphics in TF2 so they should build from that engine ..I think its the newer steam engine they used to make TF2

actually I'm a pc player, but I do like the new upcoming xbox tho it would be silly for me to get it as my itx build set me back over $2k. I did recently bought a xbox controller to try to play on the controller but lol I'm pretty bad at it, but I also play Rocket League, NFS and a few others that is better on controller.

I have not heard anything definitive. I don't believe they have even said there will be a TF3. I believe the closest thing I heard of anything being mentioned was that in one interview Vince Zampella (CEO or Respawn) said something like, (paraphrasing) "...there is more we want to do in the Titanfall space.", or "...we have more things planned in regard to Titanfall." Whatever he said, it was one of those very vague, open-ended kind of statements that could really mean anything. For example, they just assisted another company in making a Titanfall: Assault mobile game, so it could mean they want to do more in the mobile space. TF2 had a very nice Single Player Campaign, so perhaps they might like to make an extremely deep Single Player only game, where you could get somewhere from 60 to 120 hours of gameplay out of it instead of just 10 hours. Maybe they want to try something completely new that doesn't even have much resemblance to TF1 or TF2. What I would prefer is that they used TF2 to get a lot of things out of their system (proving they could make a Single Player Campaign that was awesome, trying to dumb the game down to make it more accessible to casual players, trying to bring it more in line with a traditional FPS game, trying to add cartoony things like hero titans, pink camos, phase shift, EPG, etc.) and that they take a step back and look at TF1 next to TF2 and say to themselves, "You know what? In TF1, we focussed purely on the Multiplayer and made it very rich and deep. It had a darker war-like feel to it. It had great balance between pilots and titans. The titans were faster, stronger, had regenerating shields and fully customizable loadouts and were the centerpiece of the game. It did have a steeper learning curve, but it made things feel rewarding when you achieved them. It also provided a beautiful environment for competitive players. And on top of all of that it had uniqueness because it was not a traditional FPS game. We've gotten Single Player out of the way and we've tried new things, but we need to go back and embrace what made this game special and create the most rock solid, throughly deep and satisfying Multiplayer that anyone has ever seen."

I don't have a sig here but my favorite saying is "Dwelling on the negative simply contributes to its power"

I respect that, because focussing on something can give it power.

However, there is another side to that coin that should not be ignored.

"The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing."
    -Edmund Burke

Not trying to be political here, but there is a perfect historical example of this. The New York Times itself has admitted to not covering the holocaust or burying the stories deep inside even when they did. What would have happened if everyone just followed their lead? How might things have turned out? And, on the flip side of that, how much more groundswell of support and demand to stop it would there have been if they had not covered it up? How much sooner could it have been ended?
    http://www.nytimes.com/2005/05/15/books/review/buried-by-the-times-horror-story.html

In that case, not dwelling on it most surely contributed to and prolonged it's power.
