I just got this game the other day. Loving it so far, but one issue I have had, is at seemingly random points, the game lags... Not like network lag, or fps drops. But like my computer chokes, and it freezes the game completely for 1-2 seconds. I've looked at google, tried various tricks like forcing vsync on or off. I've oc'd my video card, and monitored gpu usage, unparked cpu cores, and monitored their usage. And nothing seems to spike while these lags happen. I've also made sure no background programs are running, or using resources. Anything I havent tried or might be missing? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks p.s. I also dropped the settings from max all the way down to low. no effect whatsoever. pc specs core i5 2500k msi z77a mobo 8gb ram amd 7950 boost edition.
I have had the same issue recently. I used to be able to play it on max settings no problem at all at a constant 60 FPS. I heard AA is broken so I turned that off and still get the freeze. I tried right-clicking the game in Origin and repairing the game but it only slightly made it better, so instead of 2 seconds of freeze it was 1 second. You are not the only one who has this issue, but I do not think there is a fix as of now. My PC Specs (nothing great really): Athlon X4 760k (OCed to 4.2GHz) Gigabyte GA-F2A88XM-HD3 Mobo 8GB 1600MHz RAM Sapphire Radeon R7 260X (OCed 15%)
Some one had a similar issue, their fix was they were running a steam overlay. If you are too then disable the steam overlay.
Well it seems that if I had Titanfall on pc then I'd know that I'm not the only one with this problem... but I'm getting these lags, jerks or whatever you call them on my xbox 1. Really takes away from the fun factor.
That seemed to fix my random lag but now my ping is out the roof. I get 46ms ping to the server before game but in game I get a ping of 990ms. I enjoy this game a lot but this is ridiculous.
How would you have Steam overlay if this is an Origin game? I too have this issue and it only just started. I can't even play a complete match because the lag frustrates the heck out of me.
i got the same problem too been running this game without problem all summer this just happenned really recently I guess its just a question of updates again but still if anyone has a good fix for this please let me know thank you
I had the same issue, it was even freezing during the intro movie every 20 seconds or so. I fixed it by completely closing the AMD Gaming Evolved (Raptr) app. Right click the icon and click exit in your system tray. Before this I had tried disabling the Raptr overlay, but it was still showing prompts for DVR so it still piggy-backs on the game somehow even with the overlay disabled. Everyone I've seen with the problem has a AMD Card so I think this cause.
