First thing I noticed was the population was actually better than last time! Secondly, I handed out a spanking. Just sayin'
I think the free DLC has bumped up interest. The problem is I have been kicked several times from the server in the last couple of days. Haven't seen that since last November. Could be a coincidence.
That was the reason I popped in - I wanted to see if the pop had gone up. 3 spankings @rainman0211! The strange thing was the matchmaking. Their team had 2 gen 8's, then a mix of gen 4 - 6. My team was all gen 1 apart from me. Felt like it worked for a change...
I've seen the same ma5ch making, but surprised at the skill these new gen1's have. There is new interest because since I downloaded the dlc, I hear *I'm new to this map " just about every game. on a side note: I'm looking for just 12 volunteers....to line up and let me shoot with this blasted g2a4 gen challenge. I will supply the blindfolds and cigarettes.
I have recently returned as well after a Far Cry 4 related incident and was happily surprised to see better numbers as well...it's pretty awesome actually...
Good luck finding those volunteers. Once asked six pilots to volunteer, (you know like help a new Pilot out) and they agreed. Told me to meet them on the other side of Demeter by (Hardpoint C). Should have know something was wrong when I got there because the Titans were all there waiting on me... but they were all emblazoned with the same emblems (some Skull of some type), two of them were smoking and all of them were were drink out of what looked like bottles of 80 proof Dack Janiels hydraulic flui d.. The attack was sudden, swift and devastating. I was surrounded and bombarded with all kind of ordnance. Suddenly I was ripped from my shiny new Atlas and flung into the wall of a building. Before passing out I was able to lift mt head just in time to see A hulking Ogre pulling my titans arm off. I still afraid when I go to Demeter.
You're always going to have that "this is where it happened" flashback at demeter. . when I was reading your message, I was reminded of Clark Griswold asking for directions in St Louis [qoutE="rainman0211, post: 40706, member: 6372"]Good luck finding those volunteers. I don't doubt there has been an influx of new players within the last couple weeks. The game just went on sale not too long ago Like $10 on Steam and $12 on Amazon for the Xbox One version I just bought the game like a week ago on Amazon and noticed that like 300 copies had been purchased in the past 24 hours How cheap it is right now along with the free map packs is why myself and several others have just now bought it. It is a fun game though, I should of got it earlier. After playing it for a week I am sort of surprised it got crapped on the way it did when it launched
Yeah man, you should have bought it long ago. See the fun you've been missing all this time.. And all that hate was I'm sure from those COD fans Glad you're enjoying the game... and...Welcome to the forum Wildcat.
It's been so long... Destiny with my friends has been sucking way too much of my time... Destiny isn't even that good! It's just this endless loop of playing with friends who want to play too that's been keeping me in. Started playing some Halo MCC and after I persuade my friend ( I got 2 chums on board with titanfall... just waiting to play it at the same time!) to buy titanfall. He doesn't want to give up Destiny sadly....
I had destiny for a whole 12 hours... Then I traded it in and got TF... Best decision I ever made (although the other half doesn't remember what I look like any more)
Warning!!! I feel a "goof" coming on...(brace yourselves!!!) And lo, the clouds parted and angelic music wafted the air..... Welcome to the fold brother.... Let us gift you with a Satchel Charge up yur keester. ....and a Big Titan Ogre Hug (in a manly sorta way...) til yur eyes pop out like one of those novelty squishy stress dolls you buy a Spencer's gifts. and rejoice in yur initiation into that which is known as Titanfall. Let the sound of battle fill the air with the smell of ordnance, the haze of gunfire, the smoke of burning oil and metal, the inevitable "fog of war" where you rake one of your own guys (momentarily, followed by OOPS!!! Sorry...). Damn designators take a while sometimes ya knowww!!!! Welcome dude and best to you (as long as yur not vectoring me). D(eeeeeee) OUT!!!
I, too, handed out a few spankings last night! And it was my first night playing, too! I had no idea there were free mappacks available until I started up the game. I decided God wanted me to play this game based on the impeccable timing of my purchase. I think Destiny disappointed alot of us. I didn't even max out, but got bored somewhere around lv24. Then I went back to my fallback games, Halo Reach and Skyrim. Anyway, Titanfall has been super fun so far. I love jumping into a new game with no expectation and being completely blown away with how much fun it is. Can't wait to get off work and jump into my mech some more lol
