You call for a Titan, it drops, it is waiting for you to get in, another Titan or Pilot attacks your Titan before you get in,
does your Titan "defend itself" ?

Ooohhh yes! You can choose to have it stand guard or chase you like a puppy dog. Not as accurate as piloting it yourself though

Yeah, that is one thing I wish they would give you more control of rather than just Guard or Follow. When I exit my titan to take a hardpoint, I usually try to tuck him behind a building out of sight and put him in Guard mode. I really want him to be there when I come out after taking the hardpoint. However, your titan is like that dog in that movie "Up" when he just sees an enemy minion he is like "Squirrel!!!", and has to start shooting at him and walking towards him (same and worse if he sees an enemy pilot or titan). To me this is a huge problem, becuase he draws attention to himself, takes damage, and I've already come out of a hardpoint and he had wandered halfway to another hardpoint. It's like, "Dude, I freakin put you in Guard mode. What the hell are you doing?" :) I would like to be able to put my Titan in Stay (meaning don't move your little metal toes one inch) or Roam (which would basically be the current Guard mode); and then also put him in Ignore (don't react to any enemies even if you are being shot at) or Defend (which would basically be the current Guard mode). I would almost always have my Titan in Stay and Ignore so that he does not draw attention to himself and does not wander away. That way he is where I expected when I come out and he has probably not taken any damage because he didn't draw attention to himself.
