Just want to list some things I think are actually really good, where even if we could go back and start fresh with TF1, I would want to see these things added.

    1) Stim is better - the Stim in TF2 is amazing.
    2) The Slide - it's funny, I find myself trying to do it in TF1 now. :)
    3) The Jump distance - it seems the jump/double jump distance is much greater.
    4) Amped Hardpoint - if your a good defender, even if you don't have much help, you can at least offset both other hard points if yours is amped and the other 2 aren't.
    5) More spread out versions (wider titan lanes) of the Eden, Forwardbase Kodai, and Exoplanet maps.
    6) The Volt, Alternator and Mastiff.
    7) The leveling up of weapons and titans, but only if it gives you a significant advantage to to so so. At least some type of boost or add on when you regen the weapon or titan.
    8) The sound when you get a pilot kill.

I like pretty much everything there is in the game,
gaphics, performance, animations, most of the weapons, titans,
the crash site map is not good for titans btw.

what i'd like to add are the details that made TF1 unique, the deployment of titans and piots starting the battle, the faction character video telling when your titan will be ready, and the factions in tf1 are Milita and IMC, now is blue or orange, that's all
the zipline! we cannot use it now
in tf1 the maps are huge, lot of detail, big futuristic infrastucture sometimes destroyed, and very realistic, lots of different places in the same maps

anyway as i see it, tf2 is better than tf1 in some gameplay mechanics, like jump distance, stim,
i think the devs wanted to make tf2 fster and more fluid tha tf1, you see, the titan shields not regenerating, that makes titans expendable, so people wil call them more often and "titans fall" more often,

    Thought of another one:
    9) One thing I really do like better in TF2 than how it was in TF1 is the idea that you can use the credits you earn to unlock weapons, tactical abilities and boosts. I love the fact that if I do that for everything I like to use, then if I choose to Regenerate and I'm set back to Level 1, I still can have all of the stuff I like right off the bat and don't have to wait to move up levels again to unlock each piece.

I feel like this is the part people don't realize when they are deciding to regen or not. once you get your fav loadout purchased you're basically set forever.

I, after some time, am now completely happy with TF 2 mainly because I have now learn't how to play it and am not getting my arse shot off all the time. Great game Respawn. ha!

ADDENDUM: The introduction of Angel City helped.

Yes indeed TF2 is the precocious young child of a grand master. It is delightful and fun to be sure. We can only hope that it will mature into an adult with the same class as its parent.
