this glitch update contains only one map? or the marked for death mode too? what exactly is this dlc?
Hey Derrame, it looks to me like this DLC will include Marked for Death mode, one Live Fire map, and only one actual map for Titan modes, which was made out of "The Gauntlet" training area.
agreed the video concept that the first game in there multiplayer campaign has a unique concept and did give the game depth and a feel like a warzone, just the simple chatter from the AI as i have said before makes a difference, the sound the ambiance is missing , granted the current game is ok to what it has but these elements show a vase difference. the AUTO turrets . the custom voice of titans. the AI missing in vase numbers , that warzone feel like there is something more going around ou other than pilots vs pilots. this concept i personal wished they had worked on more and hope that they have still have big plans for this in multiplayer and other games should follow . with the faction concept that they have could you imagine a story based multiplayer mix tape concept with different modes maps faction maps , story changing due to the outcome of a few games . giving faction a sense that there battles are affecting change. that in itself is a reward other than just winning a game. and repeat . and it is a concept that can give a pro log or a history to the many different faction and characters in the game via the multiplayer . A way to carry on the main campaign story to a certain extent giving gamers the back story of battles of captain BT original pilot. filling in the gaps of how BT concept was born how the APEX was to be , how the IMC has changed the frontier , how the 6/4 have been battling and keeping the fight going..
is it just me or is the sound of pain when a titan gets a serious hit from part 1 is not there in part 2 .
Yeah, you know, you bring up a good point I've been wanting to mention. I think in general the sound effects in TF2 are very poor. Two specific examples would be: Pilot death: No matter whether you got killed by a pilot or a titan or by a gun, ordinance, melee or any other possible way you could die, it is all the same, BOOM white shock flash and you are dead. Getting in your brand new titan: Why does it sound like your titan is getting crunched in the back end of garbage truck when you are getting in it? It actually makes me worry sometimes, because I'm thinking, "Am I taking damage and my titan is going to be almost dead by the time it is done playing this stupid animation of me getting in it?"
Thanks for the kind words. Means a lot coming from you, because you are the King of images. Maybe I will. I have thought about it, especially trying to compare the situational awareness of how you can tell what you are being hit with in TF1. I'm actually really busy at work right now, but if I have time, maybe I will try to do that.
