Specifically as far as attachments go.

I'm not trying to make this into another game.

I just would like to see more than just scopes. Plus I can't change my reticle? No Iron Scopes on snipes?

Silencers, Foregrips, extended barrels, FMJ bullets, etc.

It feels very lacking IMHO. I don't want to encourage stagnant, slow, "camping games", and I can appreciate the fast pace. But shouldn't their be a medium for weapons and not SOLEY based on movement+tactical ability+sheer shooting skill (admits air-jump maneuvers)?

Im not looking to start a fight. I created an account just to gain perspective.

Matches seem to become repetitive after so long without this in my opinion.

    Welcome Griff,

Noted you are not looking to start a fight and I don't think you are by asking.

Some questions and comments to get you looking at it from another perspective.

What game modes have you played?
What game modes have you mastered?
    And on what maps?
What are you game strengths and what are your game weaknesses?

There are silencers in the game. Limited to some pistols.
Camping is a viable and important tactic in a few game modes, others not of any help at all.
You can modify the weapons and scopes, its just limited to more bullets, faster reload times, faster ADS, faster switch between primary to secondary & faster tactical ability times (and silencers for pistols and a deflection for one gun). You can earn the right to have 2 of those. You can choose between 4 scopes usually.

So with that in mind go back to your observation:

.... Solely based on movement+tactical ability+sheer shooting skill (admits air-jump maneuvers)?

Do you add map knowledge, situational awareness, teamwork (when most of your team does not have comms) and the multiplier to these tool selection appropriateness? You have 20 primary weapons, 10 secondary weapons, 6 different types of ordinance to combine with 8 tactical abilities and what is it 12 boost options just for pilots. So in those 115,200 combinations on 10 or 11 maps (leave the new live fire out of it) and lets just say 4 basic yet different game modes (Attrition, Amped Hard Point, Bounty Hunt & Capture the flag) and you can now add in your skillsets of movement + tactical ability + shooting skill.

So my question to you would be.....
What weapon configuration do you want to be killed with so it will be less repetitive?;)

you are correct when it comes to limited scopes and attachments in the game , as it do lack the variety compared to most shooters on the market , suppressors were taken out as an attachment and many have been wondering why along with the removal of a secondary has been debated .
i my self would have liked to have seen a bit more variety of sights and scopes as for the radical customizing i prefer different scopes with the radical that they intended for that scope .

FMJ bullets would be a welcome edition , grips and so on would be cool to see. but with in reason and i say this for cosmic reasons and not as a gun enhancement feature as IMO i don't want to see the confusion and mistakes games like BF4 made .

weapon balancing is already a hit and miss in the FPS gaming. some get it right and at times loose there way . IMO all this game needs are just a few base models of weapons keep it simple with the damage and time to kill with out the frustration in the end the game still needs to be fun , and when the dev's find a good balance to there base weapons they could put in weapon models as to keep appearance with a bit of variety.

agreed with you with the repetitive part as some gamers like to unlock new weapon and attachments and not just for function but to have a different look .

camping is something that will exists and map design and player cap also can contribute to this , that and other suttle things . it is also why i liked the AI element in the first compared to how they are in the current.

Found on Reddit earlier, plus I like using eh iPhone "photo markup" features lol.

So I'm not the only one who's getting frustrated here.

If you YouTube tricks or tips or guides on TF2 multiplayer, almost all of them mention never stop moving. That ADS can be done but the most successful players set their sensitivity to a level where they can easily hip-fire. Personally, I think that's kind of a bogus foundation.

Shouldn't it be a goal to have fast paced gameplay, and not the cornerstone?

Things that came to mind earlier when I was trying to play:
For weapons the main mods are "run while shooting" (which is vague– run w/ increased hipfire accuracy? Or literally sprint and shoot simultaneously?.. cause they made it where it's mostly jumping+sliding+wall running), fast ADS (which I like on any FPS), fast reload (again, on all FPS), extra ammo basically, faster weapon swap (which is another FPS essential), then "tactikill" (which is a cool spin on a gun mod), and then at some gun level up a second spot. …… ..what about fixing the kick or handling with a Grip mod, or increased range with a Barrel mod, or a Silencer mod depending on gun class...

AND THE SCOPES! Good god! Essentially most of the unlockable scopes are one in the same –different variations of the same scope. Except for the "threat scope".. but really? Snipers have a laughable presence in game 1-2 out of every 10 is it feasible to snipe by run and gunning or even camping.

I'm mostly/moderately pleased with the guns and selections. This Livefire update is the best so far.. yet still after a few matches.. it's the same thing. I'm not a pro. Though even if I know a map, you HAVE to do these fast paced maneuvers to stay alive.

It seems like more time was put in the banners and cammos than the multiplayer game. Which I'm not interested in really.

I'm not a fan ofcampers but I feel myself getting pushed into that to try and stay alive in a match.

I'm just frustrated and bummed there's not more depth in this game.

    Hey Griff! Welcome aboard pilot.

If you have a PC or or XBox One and have never played the first Titanfall, I would highly recommend trying that, especially since you can get it on Amazon for 10 bucks right now. I know you mentioned silencers and TF1 has those. In my opinion, TF1 feels like the sequel to TF2. It is more of an adult, polished, gritty, warfare environment with a real battlefield feel. Also, the titans are faster, stronger, have regenerating shields and fully customizable loadouts (chassis, primary weapon, ordinance, tactical ability and 2 kits). There is also a better rodeo mechanic, where a pilot can rip the titans skull open and fire his gun right into it's brains. If you are using the Spitfire LMG with the Leadwall upgrade, you can take a fresh titan down with one clip. Also, even though some don't see it as a huge deal, the one thing that keeps me from fully being able to express myself as a pilot in TF2 is that they slowed the ground speed down. The air speed, especially with Stim actually seems faster, but the problem is, if you touch the ground for even a split second in TF2, it is like slamming on the breaks and makes you a sitting duck. In TF1, you pretty much maintained your momentum when hitting the ground, which to me makes all the difference in the world. Also, for $10, TF1 comes with 24 large, well designed maps, where TF2 only comes with 10 maps (9 of which are small, choke-pointed maps) and you are paying $35 for that, so with TF1 you are getting an extremely larger playground for a fraction of the cost. I believe TF1 had a lot of very nice weapons with some good upgrades available. Some people became expert at using them in very unique ways. For example, I noticed you mentioned about sniping while running and gunning. Here is a clip of a guy I personally chatted with who explained to me that the reason he got so good was because he played on a very small monitor (which you will see in the video) and had a very slow frame rate at first and he had to rely on other senses, especially hearing. As a result, he is a magician with the Kraber and has unbelievable instincts, reflexes and accuracy. It's a little creepy in the beginning, because he is making fun of people who say he hacks, but if you just give it a chance, at around the 1:12 mark I think you will really enjoy it.

Oh, one more thing. TF1 is almost 3 years old, but you can still get an Attrition game any time of day. You can also get a game of the Multiplayer Campaign any time of day as well so long as you are willing to switch servers. The Multiplayer Campaign allows you to play the Hardpoint Domination mode, which I love, even though the actual Hardpoint Domination lobby died over 2 years ago. The MP Campaign has a predictable pattern of 9 games (HP, ATT, ATT, ATT, ATT, HP, ATT, HP, HP). Also, on the weekends, you can usually even get games in the actual Hardpoint Domination lobby if you use the North Europe server.

Right I'm just making suggestions for the $60 I spent for the digital copy and that game that I am trying to play.

EN, nothing you said can be argued with except that there was/is such a small following it clearly was not accepted by the gaming community at large... it was a failure in that regard.

yeh i agree also , but one thing i think they made a mistake with in the beginning was the limited demographic . but that is in the pass , i just hope they learn form there mistakes . i still have this empty feeling , and for me the disappointment for me is to know the potential that they have , so close but yet so far . i really believe that the gaming community thinks like us dark but just many are not vocal with there views . i can feel it in my gut that many ps4 players would like the original experience .

Yeah, that's what I would like to see to be able to see what the PS4 players would think.

Yes, that was on a PC villain. I think you could do it on a console. It's all about the movement. Someone like Gamesager could definitely do it.

I think it is. Same answer as above. All about the movement.

    Soooo...

Tried playing with kraber again last night and Jesus on toast is it hard. I was missing shots when the target was literally sitting still in front of me.

I'm almost sure you can't do that on a console. I think it almost requires the precision of a mouse.

This game really made me realize how soft destiny has made me. The sniping in that game is easy mode in comparison. The Aim Assist in Destiny is insane. I wanted to switch my weapon so badly but damn that, I'm gonna do it

Yeah, I can't really speak for the consoles, but I think it just depends on the skill level of the person and/or the amount of time they are willing to put into it. Like I said, I think Gamesager could easily do it on TF1 or TF2 if he really wanted to. I mean he will be the MVP of the winning team in Pilot vs. Pilot and have the most kills even when he only allows himself to use Melee Only and occasional Firestars, but no guns.

He also can do great without the aim assist on consoles as well.

If you can get the movement down, anything is possible.

Pretty impressive but doing that while shooting that rifle is a whole other matter. I haven't played tf1 in a while but it seems like that travel time is slo mo

That would really have an impact; but can Respawn tear it out of the jaws of Microsoft who had the exclusive?

Yeah, you know, the biggest thing they need to do for the health of games (and their user bases) and for the happiness of ALL gamers, is to completely shatter all those walls and barriers. Every game should have one user base, where all PC, XBox and PS players are in the same pool. It's 2017, cmon Microsoft and Sony! Get this done now.
    http://www.gamespot.com/articles/sony-responds-to-microsofts-invite-to-connect-xbox/1100-6435688/
End the damn segregation and end it yesterday. There is no reason a PC player should not be able to get a game of Amped Hardpoint whenever they want, then their are plenty of people playing it on the XBox and PS platforms. That is just rediculous! We are all playing the same game. Bring us together.

And launch the announcement of this by saying, "All PC, XBox and PS users can now test this new revolutionary global community with all having free access to the classic Titanfall game and all of it's DLC content." Holy crap would that be the best day of my life ever, because it would breathe new life into my favorite video game of all time.

Yea, that sounds great in theory but that would be like introducing a new dominant evasive species in a place where there were no predators.

PC players would be a force the likes most console players have never seen. They take their gaming much more seriously on average and using a mouse/keyboard combo is superior to a controller...

And that's not taking into account the ability to hack and create aim bots on PC.

So, yea it sounds good but I'm already getting my ego stomped by other console player guppies, I don't need sharks added to the mix.

I appreciate your point Villain, but I would counter this by saying it depends on the person. For example, I am a PC player, but Gamesager, the one in the videos above, who plays on a console, would make me like I'm a 2 year old who doesn't even know what a gun is. :)

I'm all for a strong anticheat, antihack system to immediately and permanently ban anyone who even things of cheating. I despise cheaters, because they have no respect for the purity of the game or for other players who are trying to play legitimately. We would need that. You are correct about that.
