Nooo, not that "The Wire" , the great show about life, death, money, cops and killers here in Baltimore. I'm talking about the other wire... Ethernet. For so long (months), I've been playing Titanfall with terrible lag and "retrying connection to server" interruptions and disconnects during gameplay. So I ordered 50' of Ethernet cable (the wire) yesterday. It came this morning so I connected XBox to router and enjoyed a totally lag free game of Titanfall since last year. Life is once again... good.
I'm on regular broadband here (average around 17mb) but the WiFi connected box was only showing about 2-3mb. I hard wired mine and it's been fine ever since. Glad you're sorted fella.
It's hard to believe that $8.00 worth of ethernet cable (about 50') could have fixed this month's ago.
It's almost scary how smooth it's running. I'm relieved because those homemade wifi signal boosters did not work at all.
